this is unconstitutional cas 2010 is ex post facto in other words this is changing laws years after the fact what i see is law suit about to happen
At a time when jobs are scarse, the economy needs a hugh boost, government wants to place regulations on age, health etc. that are down right ignorant.People who sit behind desk all day long, then go home to their families every night, just making up more and more rules.
Enforce the laws we have, and leave the rest alone. As long as there are aotos, and trucks on the road. As long as humans will be humans, there will be imperfection.Start doing things for the good of the drivers and stop with the adversal attitudes toward freight hauling, and i believe you will find that things may just get better on there own.
People can police themselves if they are empowered.Nobody wants idiot truck drivers anymore than with anything else.
The laws that exist already, are enforciable.Do it,and stop passing new laws, just because you can. Perhaps if labor laws were applied more effectively to transportation,Rather than just the driving aspect, then load planners would do a better job,and dispatch and ops. as well.At some point this has to become more about the people who are making the money than the ones getting rich off of it. Stop muzzling the nose of the ox that treads the corn.THNX.
